VILLAGE DEMOCRATS NOMINATE

THREE INCUMBENTS FOR JUNE 16, 2009 VILLAGE ELECTION

Mayor Sue McVaugh, and Village Trustees Suzanne Collins and Jim Bona were nominated for re-election by the caucus of Village Democrats held on April 27, 2009.

Following the caucus during an open meeting entitled “The State of the Village”, there was an update about the numerous projects being undertaken by the Village. The current Village Board of Trustees, which includes Republicans Margaret Miller and Carl Albrecht, is an effective team that works together to increase the attractiveness of Hamilton as a place to live and work. This year the Mayor and Trustees have been proud to pass a budget without a tax increase!
