, Jennifer Servedio 2Jennifer Servedio (nominated for a two-year opening) grew up, the youngest of six children, in Thiells, a hamlet in Rockland County, NY. She moved to Hamilton with her husband Frank and their son Matthew in 1995.  Matthew graduated from HCS in 2005 and is a military veteran pursuing a business degree and living in Colorado Springs.  Frank has been employed as a technician in the region for 28 years. They live on Lebanon Street.

  Jen has been employed at Colgate since 1999 and is now Director of Budget and Strategic Planning for the Office of the CIO in the Information Technology Department. Previously she was employed by the Bank of Utica (July 1997-Nov.1999). She earned an Associate's Degree in Computer Information Systems from SUNY Morrisville in 1997 and a Bachelor of Technology in Network Administration there in 2006 and is working on a Masters in Information Management at Syracuse University.  

Serving her community has always been an important part of her life.  Jen's work with the village began in 2013 as a member of the Planning Board.  In 2014 she became a Village Trustee and has been liaison to the Planning Board, Zoning Review Board, Pedestrian Safety Committee, Hamilton Police Department, Hamilton Fire Department, Airport/Airpark Commission, and the Tree Committee.  As trustee Jen has worked with the board and village staff to develop the annual budget focusing on providing the highest level of service to the community while minimizing the effect on taxes.  She became the first female Lion in the Hamilton Lions Club in 2001.  She been a Zone Coordinator for the Lions, Trustee for the Lions Project for Canine Companions for Independence, and has served on several boards including Lions SEE whose mission is to provide early detection vision screenings for children.  Since 2002 she has been Coordinator for the American Red Cross Blood Drive in Hamilton. She is a registered Democrat.  

Jen Servedio is running for her fourth term as Trustee on the Village Board. She brings her professional expertise in Network Engineering to the Village Board in all matters concerning technology. She has worked at Colgate in ITS for 20 years, currently serving as the ITS Director of Budget and Strategic Planning. Jen is the Chair and Co-founder of the Women’s Leadership Forum at Colgate which has 160 members; this group was established to promote professional development among women.  As a result of her work she is the 2019 recipient of the NYS ACE Women’s Leadership Catalyst Award, the first non-college president to be so honored. She is a member of the SUNY Morrisville Alumni Board, President of the Hamilton Lion’s Club, and Co-founder of the Hamilton Breast Cancer Support Group.
